Sphynx Cost

How to justify Sphynx Kitten Cost?

So the time has come when you began to think about buying a kitten.

We have no way of knowing how long you struggled to choose between one breed or another. Perhaps there was more than one home council to discuss cat breeds. Or maybe you are not yet burdened with marital debt and you need a four-legged friend and a purring psychotherapist. But the choice is made, and it’s time to start looking for a kitten. Whether your kitten will shine at exhibitions, receive medals and diplomas or will never know what a cat show is and the sofa will become its home – it depends only on you. But when buying an animal, you must know that each cat costs a certain amount of money.

When buying something in a store, each of us realizes that there is a “product cost” and a “profit” for the manufacturer. When buying a kitten, you thus pay for the hard work of people who breed cats.

In a professional nursery, there is no normalized working day, no days off and no indulgences, whether it is the morning after a grandiose holiday or the evening before a significant event. Naturally, kittens can be more or less expensive.   Even within the same breed there are more expensive and less  expensive kittens.

Why?

Because even in the same litter, from the same parents, there can be kittens more valuable and less valuable, more fashionable and, accordingly, more expensive color, and for Sphynx the condition of the skin is very important, absolutely “naked” kittens are more expensive, and vice versa.

Most buyers start their conversation with phrases like “we don’t need a kitten with a pedigree” or “we would like a cheap kitten” and so on. Alas, in this way, you indirectly tell the “seller” the following – “I do not want to pay for your work.”

Why?

Because professional breeding of cats has only one goal – to ensure that all kittens correspond to breed qualities, are healthy, beautiful and bring joy to their owners. Naturally, there are errors and failures in the work. But a frank “poor quality kitten” will never leave the nursery, otherwise it is not a professional Sphynx cattery.

Naturally, all kittens cannot be future champions, so babies who are inferior in color, skin type, bones and other breed qualities to their brothers and sisters will cost less. But this does not mean that these kittens are “of poor quality”!

Therefore, when buying a kitten, the future owner should be aware that if the price is suspiciously low compared to kittens of the same breed, then something is wrong here. You should not be indignant that kittens of fashionable or rare breeds are very, very expensive. The cost of a kitten consists of the cost of feeding a cat-mother and born kittens, the cost of mating, the cost of feeding and maintaining a cat, for its entire period of life, including the “retirement”, the cost of vaccinating a kitten, the cost of advertising and maintaining the breeder’s website, the cost of medical care nursery, and much, much more… And of course, we must not forget about the work of the breeder!

When buying a kitten, all costs will be carefully calculated for you – from feed to visiting exhibitions, treating a cat and issuing a pedigree. A cat is not an essential item, not bread or sausage. If a person wants this or that cat, he must be aware that he will have to pay for it, just like for all other benefits – a car, an apartment, a summer house.

In addition, if you are not able to pay for a cat now, then tomorrow it may happen that you will not be able to feed your cat and, God forbid, pay for expensive pet treatment. And then – either euthanasia, or the pet can get into the street.

Therefore, before buying a cat, you need to think about everything and make an informed decision.

It happens that you really want to buy an expensive cat – but you cannot afford that now.

So there is nothing easier! Take a loan and buy exactly the animal that your soul desires!

And may this Sphynx kitten bring joy and happiness to your home!
